In November, Dr. Israel Barsh will challenge incumbent Mayor Jim Arrington for the mayor’s seat in LaGrange, also sought by businessman Philip Abbott. Barsh has previously run for public office in LaGrange, having stayed actively involved in attending council meetings. Barsh is the CEO and Founder of Lionsgate Coalition and the U.S. Global Office of Nonprofits LLC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps establish nonprofits, and a member of the LaGrange-Troup Chamber of Commerce.
